On behalf of Elmbury Limited, ARP are instructed to prepare a reserved matters application for residential development on this former sale ground site opposite the station in Wymondham, Norfolk. On behalf of Elmbury Limited’s parent company, Mountleigh Development, ARP secured outline planning permission for residential development on the site in August 2017.
The site is allocated for redevelopment by Policy WYM2 of the Wymondham Area Action Plan, with the policy specifying that the site should provide approximately 64 dwellings, an element of commercial use and that improvements to car and coach parking for the station are to be investigated. In order to ensure the viability of development, ARP successfully demonstrated that commercial use and car and coach parking could not feasibly be provided on this site.
